Digital dash customization
The digital gauge cluster on newer BMWs has more options than it shows from the factory. Common changes:
- Startup logo: M or M Performance logo when you start the car, on supported models.
- Digital speed readout alongside the speedometer.
- Cluster theme and layout options, including M-style views on some cars.
- Needle sweep on startup, on cars with analog-style gauges.
- Sport displays on the iDrive screen: power, torque and G-force.
Sport+ and Comfort+
Many BMWs ship with only Comfort, Sport and Eco Pro, even though the car can support more. Coding can add Sport+, with sharper throttle and shifting and a looser traction control setting, and Comfort+, for a softer ride on supported cars. Which modes your car gets depends on its model and equipment.
Lane change assist
On BMWs with the right driver-assistance hardware, coding can enable or adjust lane change assist, where the car changes lanes when you tap the turn signal while the assistant is active. This depends heavily on your car's sensors and options, so it's one I always check with your VIN first.
Oil change reminder
BMW's service interval is long, and many owners change oil sooner. Coding can adjust the oil change reminder to the interval you prefer, so the car reminds you on your schedule instead of the factory one.
These features need specific hardware and software on some cars. Send your year, model and VIN, and I'll confirm before you book.
